I’m definitely no cooking expert, but recently I’ve gotten more and more excited about being creative in the kitchen. I love taking recipes I know myself and my husband, David will dig and tweaking them a little to fit our needs. Because we travel so much for work and pleasure, its easy for us to get in a cycle of always eating out, or ordering to go. This can be great when we want to try new restaurants or not deal with the hassle of prep and clean-up in the kitchen, but on the flip-side, we’re also unable to necessarily control what’s going into our diet, and how much. When I cook at home, I’m able to substitute for healthier ingredients that taste equally as delicious, and I’m also able to portion out our meals to be an amount that’s just right for us. On this page you’ll be able to find not only the recipe to a dish I’ve made, but I will also post about the ‘grocery shopping’ and ‘prepping’ experiences involved in ‘the making of the meal.’ It’s one thing to have a few recipes at your disposal, and quite another when you are trying to balance them all out timing-wise during the cooking process! This I know through experience of burning a side dish or two from time to time, as well as forgetting to start a side or leaving it unattended for too long. I hope that what I post on here will be beneficial to you not only in creating new meals for yourself, but also timing everything out so that you can achieve the result you hope for. When it comes to food, both options of eating out or cooking in can be fun, and options I’m definitely grateful to have & share with you all on this page! Bon Appetit!
